The Devil's Backbone is a Spanish language ghost story set in an orphanage during the Spanish civil war. Directed by Guillermo Del Toro, it tells a riveting tail of murder, betrayal and intrigue. Definitely not your standard horror movie, but epic storytelling and filmmaking of the highest order. 9 unexploded bombs in the courtyard out of 10.
